The Weaver
My life is but a weaving between my Lord and me,
I cannot choose the colors He works so steadily.
Oft time He weaves in sorrow, and I, in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper, and I the underside.
The dark threads are as needed in the Weaver's skillfull hand
As the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.
Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles case to fly
Will God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why.

B-Day Party at the Fire House

Andrew celebrated his 4th B-day at Uncle Troy's Fire Station. As soon as everyone arrived, a call came in so the birthday started with watching the Fire Truck pull out of the bay... lights and sirens and all! Uncle Troy also had dispatch announce Andrew's special day over the intercom during a test page.

I just noticed you have a Truth Project link on your blog. My parents just hosted their last meeting this week. It is such an incredible idea - we watched part of the first "lesson" last summer just to get a feel for it. I think it's really going to make a difference in our apathetic Christian society. Light a fire under some buns!
